Ooh good point. All of the other disruptions allow a counter if you're suitably prepared for them.
If we weren't willing to accept it, then I think CPWSDFC is a doable cycle? Compared to CSDWPFC, it's mostly similar but allows WW -> WWS and keeps F ->C and S->D. The only question would be about the DF part, I think. Unless we're also worrying about encouraging PWPs?
So I think it's CSDWPFC (suggestion 1) - no counters - PF non-ideal? vs CPWSDFC (suggestion 2) - DF non-ideal? - PW non-ideal??

CPWSDFC (whew, that's a hefty "abbreviation") also prevents counters if you hit them with it two turns before, unless they put W on both their hands, in which case they wind up with WP/WS (or WW/WS). Granted, that's a bit easier to do that get WW on each hand, but it still doesn't solve the problem entirely.
Besides, this makes FFP suck horribly against DPP/PSD.

That's true. All the other disruptions let you counter when cast the turn before -or- two turns before. Still, I think that the second version is possibly forgiving enough to get away with.
Why do you say it sucks so much against DPP/PSD? D/P will continue PS with his DPPP hand as before, and seems just as stuck with his other hand; the only changes in his choice are (PSD)DDF, DWS, DPW instead of (PSD)DDW, DWP, DPF.

Nevermind, I was being dumb. I was thinking of opening F/W, not F/D. F/W works with CSDWPFC, but not with CPWSDFC.

Name: Arthritis Category: Enchantment* Gestures: WDSP Description: On the next turn, the affected caster can not make a S, F, D on either hand. * if Amnesia or Confusion is cast on the caster the same turn, they are still affected by Arthritis as well. However, Paralysis cancels the affect of Arthritis. Or wait, maybe only confusion affects them, but Amnesia becomes permanent! Or the affected caster starts hanging out with a bunch of ogres, and he has to buy them lunch!

Other than the bouncing and allowing claps, this is identical to Fear... right? Your bouncing rules also do not compute. If someone is affected by DPP and WDSP at once and their previous gestures include S F or D, what happens?

Hey look... this is why I didn't come up with the game in the first place. My original spell idea was "Chorus Line"... but I scrapped that after I realized Trolls can't fit into those sparkly outfits...

They do fit, but you need to use the right brand... and quantity, of lube...
And about 6 cases of talc.

how about a Incrimental STD spell. (*lol*) victim has an incrimenting itch in his/her nether regions to the point of utter despair. A remove enchantedment to break, but if not achieved in the first four moves his soul is put up for grabs. In a circle of 3 or more mages, every other participating warlock will have the ability to end said warlocks despair, and allow a return to the game(but at a cost, the victim must surrender 1 health point to each warlock), or they can kill him (humanely ofcourse) but all his remaining health point are granted to the original caster of said affliction.

Hi What I would like to see, would be fatalities, like in Mortal Kombat: If (and only if) a special variant of a damage making spell takes the rest of a opponents health it will not only kill him, but do some really nasty thing to his body. Like: SSWFP on an adversary with less than 3 points will dissolve his skin and only leave a skeleton with bloody muscles. sd will decapitate you. DD> removes one's heart. And so on... Of course this won't add to the gameplay, but is purely a fun element to mock your enemy Greetings, Wider
