Everyone: Please note that I updated results posting guidelines with one additional paragraph regarding calculating and scoring:
I hope all of us will manage to report you games properly this month =) Good Luck.
P.S. And I have 3 Elders to beat. Woo-hoo!

Do the two new spells cancel with themselves/each other?

They cancel with each other, and I think it makes sense for them to cancel with themselves, too (unless Bio thinks otherwise). Since they don't cancel with mindspells, players should probably have a couple other options when threatened with them. And I'm facing all elo 1800+ opponents this month.

Really, Ellipsis researched these spells much more than I have. I would have to agree with this interpretation.

Also, my wording for scoring "+1 (and -1 for opponent) for each successful (not missed, not mirrored, not countered, not dispelled) cast of either spell" may not be perfect, as we may want to give points for mirrored spells to one of players. I hope Ellipsis will clear this up as well.

I hope Ellipsis will clear this up as well. Yes, a mirrored spell is treated as though it were cast by the warlock with the mirror, so they get +1 (and their opponent -1).

Please, by all means, fee free to cast both DSP & PSP at me at the same time, I want that sort of brain melt!

Oh I see what you did there...
And another thing I'd point out - Bio's right that you should target the final gesture at no-one to avoid casting shields, but if someone does accidentally cast a shield, it needn't result in a surrender: it's better to treat that as overriding the intended spell, just like if I gesture WWFP and mean to cast cause light, but forget to specify it.
That is, if I gesture DSP and say "Selfish targeting you", but actually cast a shield on myself, you can treat the Selfish spell as having failed.

Biologin, you appear to have shorted me a league point for our match. I successfully cast PSP on turn 18. As per this month's scoring rules, that's worth a point despite the fact that I used it on myself rather than you.
