We're cool. Heck, there's only a handful of active warlocks that deserve entrance, but I don't see any of them turning their backs on the BAG

Ah, good, you're saying that members of the Black Rose have too much class to be welcome on the Isle. Thanks for the compliments

is it just me or is mimicry really fun? also, it makes it more misleading for an opponent. blanking a hand generally makes them start out thinking of whatever their personal re-opener is (or W/W, which gets old), but when the hand starts out with something, people tend to try to build on that rather than breaking off again.
Thoughts?

I have no basis to compare, but I do like the modified rule, even if I haven't used it much (it's been used against me more). I'd really enjoy trying out a few of those past rules you guys played with.

usually charm ends up being half an antispell but is much easier to get through and more resistant to para. or if you're feeling squirrelly you can try to make them surrender accidentally

Defending bolt after the charm is old? gotta use this info...
And this version of mimicry is definitely good. But I was thinking - maybe we can use it to replace para, not charm? Think about it, folks.

yeah, defense is out these days. there's always time for that save-your-ass mirror next turn anyway )
mimicry every turn hmmm...but does that put us back towards paraff FoD? (cursory glance) assuming they don't match you for even just the first letter, you could chain them into most of a finger, while still being safe from mindspells basically the entire time

Don't worry about the bigjim game. There is no way you'd get it done by the 26th anyway, since he only makes a few moves every few days.

It is 26th of December. Hour of Mist is here. Standings are posted. slarty.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=league2&action=display&thread=719Hermit (who is considered a ronin until the next month starts) is the High Champion of this month! And High clan is.... Order of Paramancerstada! Elders have two days to report any changes to Clans to the Weaver. Paramancers have four days to come up with new monthly rule. Cheers to everybody, it was a good month!
