ha! quality work Bio. though in my opinion, the *only* option is for the GBA to back away from the Orb slowly and leave it to the Isle. It's obviously too much for you to handle.

Okay, I've tried to score these and I keep getting different numbers... Someone smarter than me, yes, that's most of you, please score my league games this month?

Dubber just post a link your games... as Succat does ((( I'll calculate it when I'll have time to.

Well, since Awall wasn't able to help with this case, until Slarty is back, I'm kinda switching to this new account. I'll not log in to previous one till everything is back in order, so feel free to share your secrets on your forums, etc. =)

Speaking of succat....what is with the paramancers not getting utterly annihilated this month in league? It doesn't even make sense...
Also, Bio is being bit a pushover here. If I were him I'd stick by an "if you don't add up your own points/get an intern to do it, you don't get the points". Come on, it's not like Bio is a living abacus just waiting for people to give him numbers to add up so he can go back into action...
Though that is an amusing mental image.

crud. And here I was about to ask Bio what the square root of -1 was... perhaps you could solve the relation between a circle and a straight line? Or perhaps if you're not just after a one line gag answer, you could try the following... 2x-10+4(x^3)+4x(y^2)=0 2y+4(x^2)y+4(y^3)=0 solve for x & y ps- I've been sucking *so* bloody badly this month. curse you BAGers!

XadeSquare root of -1 is too hard for poor me =) I heard something about 'pi' being the answer ))) Or was that 'i'? )) And I don't know what do you mean by 'relation' between a circle and a line )) Is it relation of areas the circle is divided to by a line? But your system is easy to solve (in real numbers that is) - the second equation has the only solution of y=0 (since 4(x^2)+2+4y^2>0), thus x can be figured out from first equation: 2x^3+x-5=0, which, being a cubic equation in classical form and having a positive determinant, has 3 solutions in real numbers and is solved by Cardano's method I'm too lazy to apply EllipsisNo, I'm not abacus ) where did you get this idea? =) Seriously, next month I'll be adding some rules about players being responsible for correctly reporting their score and like that. For this month it will do as is.

1 - Yeah, it's i 2 - poorly worded, but yes, was aluding to pi. 3 - and that is why you're on top of the pile! Though technically the answer I was looking for was "google it"...

2 - poorly worded, but yes, was aluding to pi. Hey, I think I've got it ) You've meant relation between area of disk and perimeter of a circle limiting the disk. pi/2 it is indeed =)

Speaking of succat....what is with the paramancers not getting utterly annihilated this month in league? It doesn't even make sense.... Something about that Magnetoooooooooo, I think. Honestly, I've told the guys I don't take league that seriously. And what with this crazy point system now, it's becoming quite ridiculous to go through every game, examine every turn and figure out what point you got or didn't get. I'm not doing that. Give me my 10 points for the victory win or whatever, but come on, even poor Dubber (once a full-fledged programmer, mind you) is having trouble with the points this month. Bio doesn't have to figure it all out, I believe I told him that, but Bio is a class act so he does it, but maybe something will change in the future regarding this crazy point system. I liked the old league much better - either you win or you didn't; none of this horse radish I leave you with this: Magnetooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!

...(once a full-fledged programmer, mind you)... I suspect that was meant as hyperbole, as I do not really feel I fit the description

As to the calculations, since I only won one short game (due to xade error) that one was easy (I think I got it right in my report) The other two I lost (so the winner can calculate those) And the last two really need to wrap up, but I'll likely lose them anyway, too...

I'm working on standings. But since Guild of the Black Art is about +86 points now, I'd advice to prepare a rule already. Hour of Mist start on midnight of June 30th.
