Are we no longer permitted to cast normal paralysis?

I'm not quite sure I understand the rule. Could someone show a sample series of moves to help make it clear? Thanks!

There is some logic issue the way i read this, I think?
This makes sense: Odd Fs starting with the 3rd F in:
F F F F F F F
equals "FFF2" so the first, third, fifth, etc... cast and successful Paralysis is a +1
I'm not getting the rest of the rule, though...
Is this just a way to have each Para cast last 2 turns?
Meaning in the FFFx turn the para'd hand should be submitted as the para'd gesture again?

No you are not allowed to cast regular para, it should be targetted at nobody on the even F's.
yes, it's just a way to make para last two turns. (so, yes the victim has to manually paralyze himself the second turn) but not let you cast it every turn (which should make everybody happy right?)
common situations: paralysing a W sends it all the way to counterspell. paralysing PS makes them charm monster. FSS goes to Fireball, etc.
opening FFFF on one hand no longer gets you a disruption on turns 3 AND 4
the idea is to give more incentive to break the f-chain without really hurting the chain-cast ability. It also makes para more resemble the other 3-gesture disruptions which affect two gestures each, this is just two in a row instead of two at a time the rest of what is posted on the rule was just to answer the first few questions that everyone has (timestop, haste), and to allow for it to function with the elemental.
i would put up some random weaves, but i drank a lot last night and my brain no workee (man this is like the 800th time i modified this post)

Are we allowed to target the XFFF para at nobody and cast para2 on even-numbered F's?

no, you completed the gestures, the spell counts

So, okay, you're saying the rule for this month is:
in an FFF string: 1. one's even numbered Fs are aimed at nobody 2. one's odd numbered Fs are aimed at the target (self, opponent, or monster - whomever/whatever) 3. the turn after the paralysis successfully lands, the paralyzed target must make the same gesture on the paralyzed hand (or the monster's owner must have the targeted monster attack nobody)
[also, standard league rules apply: vf maladroit parafc]
Did I sum up accurately?

Clarification of the rules is needed in this battle: games.ravenblack.net/warlocks?num=74084&turn=9My understanding is FFF2 requires my opponent (whom I Para'd S to D) should have manually placed a D on his left hand for PSDD on this turn... right? With the rule broken, is this a win for me or not? Or is the PSDF allowed, and therefore play continues as is? Thanks

yes, he should have manually put in a D. so yes, you are winner (also kind of funny that he mentioned the rule immediately after regarding the ogre).
for clarity, in the future we should probably re announce the para on the turn after it hits (when you pick which hand).

Also, I assume you get +1 (or -1) if you para(2) a monster (or your monster is paralysed?)
I assumed this in my recent game score, but it's a bit fuzzy if you should get a point or not...

no it cannot: "Victim cannot be targetted by mindspells on the next regular turn." although going by that game my opinion may be a bit biased
