You guys have been quiet...
Here's a question for you: a goblin is hit with cure light and a missile in the same turn... does the goblin die?
My interpretation of the original rules would hold that the goblin lives... essentially spells take place more or less at the same time and any damage the missile does is healed by the cure.
How about in Warlocks? Heal comes before missile... does the goblin have 2 hps, then get hit for one damage and live? Or does the goblin, unable to have more than one hit point, have the heal wasted, and then takes the one damage and dies?

The answer to this is actually in RB's rules if you read them all. Cure happens before missile does, and HP in warlocks for all entities is capped at 1 hp above their starting hp. So the goblin in this case would survive with one hp. However, cure heavy wounds + cause light wounds would kill it.

Huh, ok. I knew about the +1 health for wizards, didn't know it applied to monsters as well. So he's sidestepped the issue slightly by giving everyone +1 health.... this second case is very unlikely but would still be annoying if I ever ran into it. Good to know.
