Pairings were generated randomly by record. Again, please report any discrepancies, such as being paired against the same player twice. I checked a little more thoroughly this time, though. Lots of chances for big upsets, so I'm interested to see how this one will play out.

There is one error in the pairings where two players were paired twice, however, since their match ended last round by forced surrender and the one who reported the mistake wishes a rematch, I will let it stand so long as his opponent has no problems with it.

Pairings were generated randomly by record. I think there is an oxymoron in this statement. I see that the top was paired against the top & the bottom paired against the bottom (yes, and the middle against the middle) but how is that "random"? Forgive my ignorance, is the object of the pairings to end up with a relatively narrow win/loss distribution?

They were generated randomly by _record_. In a swiss tournament, you are generally always paired against somebody with your same record. The times when I need to randomize are, for example, to decide who gets paired down or who gets a bye. Or within the pool of all the 1-2 players; all of them were paired with each other randomly.

Ah, in that case I'm glad I was forced in the last round

Oh, and in case anyone was wondering, ties for the cut to top 4 will be based on all opponents' total sum of points. If that is also a tie somehow, it will go to total health from all of your games. And if even _that_ is a tie somehow, we go to random.org.

FYI I will be out of town from Oct 1st to Oct 8th with (likely) no access to the internet. So if you're playing me, please don't hesitate to make moves. I will do my best to do the same.. However, I'll be busy with bachelor party festivities this weekend, and work otherwise. My apologies.
