I must admit I'd have preferred members of different teams to not communicate outside of the game. Because what's the point of a pre-defined team if it has no advantage over any other two warlocks?

Whoa, what?!
One member of two out of three teams is killed, what's the problem with the two remaining team-mate-less warlocks from teaming up?
The funny part about Bio getting killed is I had no idea Jake was going to target Bio (and Bio chose to target his teammate with the mirror instead of himself)
Also, I entered my non-clap before I asked Jake if he was going to DPP - and learned Jake did WDD instead of WDP

"One member of two out of three teams is killed, what's the problem with the two remaining team-mate-less warlocks from teaming up?" IMHO any teaming up is fine as long as they keep it honest and communicate via the game. IMHO communicating outside of the game is the "telepathy" only members of pre-defined teams should share. IMHO the team that took out two opponents can be 'rewarded' for their effort and face two individuals, not two teammates again.
Well, anyway, that's only my opinion on how things should be. It is just that we should agree on these things before the game, because it can really affect decisions (as it would have changed the target of that WWFP that puzzled you).
"The funny part about Bio getting killed is I had no idea Jake was going to target Bio (and Bio chose to target his teammate with the mirror instead of himself)" Ok, I see. But just to clarify, I posted here two days before getting killed.
"wait, plus Jake Magic Missiled *me* - so how is that a bonus? " Yeah, that means you're not as teamed as I though after turns 19 and 20. My apologies is I offended you.
Not that this missile matters anyway... xD

in a 2v1v1 situation it is in the best interest of both singles if they team up. the pair still has the advantage of already working their spellflow together while the others were working at cross-purposes and must assimilate. how can we meaningfully strategize through the game? by the time i ask what his plans are and he responds things will have gotten far beyond that point. i'm still not sure why he didn't resist one of you guys. the storm was still coming and the elemental still would have been dead. how would knowledge that we were talking have changed anything? Sorry i didn't respond when you originally posted, but i play at work and i haven't had a lot of time recently. as far as the mirror: when you (bio) are in a melee and you have a spell that would equally help things for either your partner or yourself you almost always throw it at your partner. especially when he is finishing his third FoD (that bastard ). The missile was because, honestly, any time i play a team game i entirely forget that there are teams. this is the same reason i don't play in the league. and no the missile didn't matter

As bio mentioned, terms need to be agreed on prior to games starting, otherwise telepathy is assumed for all!

I must say, that was more FoD throwing than I ever thought I would see in a single match. Also, Jake is right, you are a bastard.
