This month we have a dual rule:
The Isle part: = The gift of giving
This rule is in effect unless there is a Magneto target (see below) in play. If there is a Magneto target in play, this rule has no effect.
-1 point to you (and +1 to your opponent) whenever you cast a shield at a target that isn't your opponent. +1 point to you (and -1 to your opponent) whenever your opponent casts a shield at someone who isn't you.
(Thus there is no instant surrender involved for breaking the rule.) ==
Guild of the Black Art part: == a new spell - Magneto: WDPW For next 3 turns all protection spells (that's P,WWP,WWFP,SSFP) must be cast at target of this spell. You get +1 (and opponent gets -1) for each protection spell successfully cast (i.e. not countered/mirrored/etc.) at target this way (including your spells). If there are few Magneto spells in effect, you may choose between either of "magneted" targets. Magneto effect is not affected by visibility - you must still try to target "magneted" character even if you don't see it. Magneto can be delayed and can be made permanent.
This spell is cast at any target (warlock, monster, nobody), defaults at self. Caster still must announce casting Magneto (and it's target). It can be countered, mirrored, PDWP'd and dispelled. It's effect doesn't work on time-stopped turns and works normally (as a WWP would) on hastened turns. It is not a mind spell and doesn't interact with mind spells in any way. ==
