Sorry-- had to carry over, as Stlarty ended the third installment of the great exDeath / Succat flame war of the Second Renaissance period.
"Speaking of mullets, I really enjoy watching MacGuyver.
The first season had one episode that was terribly awful yet hysterical at the same time. They must have said the "bad guy's" name (Axeminster) at least thirty times. At one point, MacGuyver used pine cones he lit on fire to blow up a jeep. Classic!
Can anyone remember Mac's first name? (without searching for the answer, of course ) " -- Vermont
Even though i watched this show a ton as a kid, i can't remember his first name. But i do remember the actor's real name - Richard Dean Anderson.

MacGyver's first name is Angus -- which is fitting, since *every* Angus I know is laid back, resourceful, and an outside-the-box thinker (most are also deliberate, one might even say 'slow')

It was mentioned toward the end of the series, may have been the final show? I know this piece of trivia because it was a stumper question in a Nerd Bowl pop-culture trivaia challenge round waay back.

It was in an episode. They played it up as a big deal to try to increase viewership towards the end of the series.
That was probably when MacGyver jumped the shark.
