In the Dread Aerie, the Elders and I are discussing potential plans for a system to reward crazy good RP with clan points (in a structured way that will not get out of hand). While we are figuring that out it occured to me that there has already been some good RP, both recently and also predating the clans!
So, the first RP award will be an honorary award for RP that predates the introduction of clans. You can nominate a warlock in this thread based on anything -- a battle, a forum post, a listserv post, a web page, or even his warlocks profile.
I'll open the nominations with one of the latter, for Taliesin, the profile post he made upon his final retirement, which the Isle / Black Rose argument currently going on reminded me of:

I nominate Xade. He instigated a fight war with the GBA, and dirtied its noble cause. The Islanders are polar opposites to what the GBA stands for... and just the mere mention of the Isle within the same breath sickens me to the core.

Please do not assume to know what the Isle stands for in its entirety after a brief stint dealing with a sole mage. This is more hidden in our isle than you, or even many of our own members, are aware of.
Cordially yours.

just the mere mention of the Isle within the same breath sickens me to the core. That's not "mention of the Isle", that's me, the Poisoner Mage of the Isle of Vermont. You have but 6 days to live.

I nominate QnanG5284, due to his repeated use of the F/> opening for purely RP reasons.

I assume to know what i see and hear. My opinions, and opinions of the realm are shaped by such things. Things may change in the future, but I will not work under the assumption that they will. The existance of hidden secrets does not ease my views on the Isle.

I agree, the Paramancers have a cool name and actually play their style (though advertising a style is not exactly going to surprise an enemy). why dont i just dress up in tights and call myself the Goblin King.
You remind me of the babe.

I need to find a way to turn Toyotami in tights into a decent custom title...

Don't forget to pay attention to the various "Ronin". We have our places too.

How ancient do you want the role play, Slarty?

Why, I was kind of hoping somebody would dredge up that old Akuma battle (or whatever it was) from the beginning of time...
(Edit: let's not nominate WOGHD for his excellent portrayal of Kryptonite, though...)

I'd like to nominate Wider for consistently staying in character no matter what his opponents say. His dialogue may be corny, but sticking to your RP is hard when others won't play along.
Ok, sorry if that was too much. You get the point.

All WOGHD was able to play was a controlling megalomaniac, and he never tried for anything else. Okay, enough of that. I support the nomination of Taliesin.
