Happy New Year everybody! And, happy new league month! The league rule and pairings have been posted in the Narthex. The rule looks long, but it is actually pretty simple. Just read the stuff in red first. ;D And, happy new forum! The "Outside the Bubble" forum has been created for in-character, RP threads only. You can still post in character in the Square, but RP-centric threads should go Outside the Bubble. And, happy new autocensor functionality! I've rigged things so that typing # followed immediately by any clan member's name (no space) will print their name in the color of their clan. -- Slarty

Clanless members are bugged! See here.

Well, that's not really a bug, that's life. I set that up manually for every single member, and I wasn't going to do it for 70 non-league members just to not change the color noticeably!

There isn't a way to do that automatically? How are you going to handle new people joining up? You (presumably) won't want to be on permanent name-colorizing duty?

Well, I was already on permanent group-permission-changing duty, so this only multiplies the time it takes by 2. This isn't the main reason that most membership changes have to be sent one time per month; but it sure works out well for that!

Is it possible to set a default behaviour for the "#" mod to just have the colour stay the same?

Unfortunately, no. The autocensor is somewhat limited. Currently, it replaces # Xade (without the space) with a color tag, followed by Xade, followed by the end color tag. So I could certainly enter in #Slartucker and put the output as just plain old Slartucker, but I would have to do that for all non-clan members and keep updating it, and that just doesn't seem worthwhile.
Although I suppose I could do it for all 2 of them that are playing in league...
