Er... pardon the pun.
Anyway, people have probably noticed a general lack of promptness on my part for the last few months, and especially in my league battles thus far this month. I want to apologize (yet again) if I've kept anybody waiting. The general idea is that I've been pretty busy with stuff, and even when one thing lets off, other things have this annoying tendency to show up to take their place. There are a number of personal projects that I've had in limbo for a long time now and I'd really like to be able to spend a bit more time on them, as well as spend a bit more energy maintaining my life in general.
Now, I certainly don't intend to stop playing Warlocks or anything. This is one of the most engaging games I've ever played, and as an amateur game designer, I feel that I owe Warlocks credit for a great deal of my understanding of initiative, momentum, and the like (you'd approve, Bio - I think I've gotten a lot better at 2D fighting games since I started Warlocks), and I think that I've still got a lot more to learn. The issue is that I've started getting to the point where I feel pressured to keep a lot of games up simultaneously (more by myself than by anybody else) and to spend a lot of energy on forum-y stuff. I think it'd be better if I stepped back long enough to remind myself that Warlocks is something that I want to do rather than something that I have to do.
I shall be momentarily getting started on the remainder of my league games, but the jury's still out on whether I'll want to participate in next month's league or whether I'd prefer to sit out for a bit. Regardless of whether I do or not, I'll try to keep a couple games active, and still contribute to the forum when I feel I can. I also owe games to a few people (Succat, Bio) that I'll try to make good on soon.
Anybody else, feel free to send messages and/or challenges my way. Just don't be surprised if I don't get to them immediately.
