Rules
Tournament is divided into 2 stages.
First stage is 4 rounds of modified swiss. That means:
1) Everybody starts with 0 points. Any win is 3 points, draw is 1 point, any lose is 0 points.
2a) Each round you are paired VS 3 (three) opponents. That's 3 simultaneous games you have to finish in two weeks. You play one game VS each of your opponents. During swiss stage you are never paired against an opponent you have already encountered in this tournament.
2b) During Swiss stage Intentional Draws are allowed. I.e. you can declare result of you game as a DRAW on mutual agreement with your opponent. If you opt for ID, your unfinished (or unstarted) game is considered as a DRAW for tournament purposes. However, you have this option only until you actually finish the match. If you have finished your match, you must report its result; reporting any result that differs from actual match result is treated as cheating.
3) After each round your score is counted. Then (unless 4 rounds are over) you are (randomly) paired VS another 3 opponents with the same score (if possible).
4) After 4 rounds of modified swiss (which means everybody gets 12 games) top-4 proceeds to the second stage - play-off. Ties are breaked based on tiebrakers (which are sum of your opponent's points). it is VERY possible that there will be more then a few people with the same score on places 3-6, so if you don't want to depend on your opponents - just win everything XD
Second stage is single elimination tournament for 4 players. 1st players (based on swiss standings) is paired VS 4th player, 2nd player is paired VS 3rd player. All matches are best of three games, i.e. you need to win 2 games to advance.
All tournament games should be fast paraFC maladroit. All tournanent games are very friendly by default, although players may mutually agree to play their game as a friendly or a ladder one.
All players in all tournament games should clearly indicate what type of game is it (f.e. say "Tournament match, group 5." or "Tournament match, play-off round 2, second game" in the beginning of the game). Winner of the game is responsible for reporting the result to a judge. If there is no winner in the game, last player to enter moves is responsible.
All players of the tournament agree to play in fast pace. Judge will monitor slow play and may issue warnings for the slow play. Multiple warnings may lead to game loss and\or to DQ from tournament.
If any match is not finished in time, Head Judge determines the match outcome based on game position AND players activity. Head Judge may announce a winner OR add some time to the match. All participants of the tournament are to completely agree with any Head Judge's decision.

Prize Pool
Monetary prize pool will be available if there will be more than 16 participants: $100 + $50 for each Master joining the tournament. Winner takes 70%, runner-up takes 30%.
