Yeah guys, unloop D/P vs D/P? way to go =)))) games.ravenblack.net/warlocks?num=81838&turn=3Also, since finals had started on May 5th, and are supposed to take 3 weeks, end date should be May 26th. However, given your slow start and to have a nice tournament length, I'm adding 5 more days, and declare that the last tournament day will be May 31st. On June 1st I'll judge all unfinished games, if any, and declare the winner )

ha, the script is a good idea, I think it must take a good one line under linux, about the same under windows, I thought it was already done like that in fact... I'll try to do my best to make moves even if tired, but it seems xade and I are in rather opposite time-zones, that doesn't help the speed.

Well, I don't have access to Ravensblack DB, so I need to fetch html and parse it. So that's kinda longer than one line. But yeah, still I should have done that earlier, but I've been busy / lazy...

Yeah- that seems to be what happened with Toyo. (despite our timezones being the same).
I tend to be online constantly whilst at work, but don't get on much at home anymore.
Sadly, your timezone has you sleeping while I'm at work (And had Toyo actually working!)

xade, that was epic, sorry that it ended on such a gamble. Your move on turn 35 that managed to catch me unaware, that could deserve to be written in history.

I'm really surprised the FoD was actually cast... Justix had to Clap so Xade could have segued into several alternate linse and been a mve or so ahead... even with the giant back at full health. (that said, I think I see where I wouold have screwed the pooch a lot earlier and lost, so kudos to Xade on getting to a full FoD even if it was mirrored) Looks like this is #2? games.ravenblack.net/warlocks?num=81846

GG. Interesting ending to say the least.
Time stats for game one (started counting since the middle of T2): In game 81838 player xade spent 5 days, 11 hours, 34 minutes In game 81838 player Justix spent 3 days, 22 hours, 14 minutes Of course, this is not exactly precise as I check only once in 5 minutes to respect Rb server. Also it worth mentioning that xade is kinda expected to be "slower" due to being 9 hour ahead of / 15 hours behind Justix. Overall both players kinda played in a reasonable pace and finished the game in 9 days, which is okay =)
Good luck in your second game, both of you =)

Thank you xade, I appreciated this last match too, opening, middle game and ending all had their points of interest. Time for me to take a short vacation and discuss a little thing with our benevolent "Master of the Nightmare Touch" now ;-) As a conclusion I must say that this tournament pushed me beyond my usual level of gameplay and I think I gained some insight to share : 1) Taliesin, that Old Wise Master, helped me realize with one of his post (see here : slarty.proboards.com/thread/823/choosing-parachain ) how important, even if ugly, parachain was. It is the reason why I used it so much during the last matches, though I never liked that. It is also the reason why I changed my opening to P/F on my last match, though I never used it before, but I was nearly sure xade would also use P/F or S/F and I did not want to suffer a parachain from the start against him without having mine to react. 2) At some point, with the best players, there is also a psychological dimension to take into account. I can partly attribute my victories to the fact that I could sometime nearly predict the moves of my opponents because I understood their way of thinking (well, not always of course, and I got caught myself too being predicted, but understanding the playstyle and habit of my opponents gave me an edge sometime) All that was very interesting for me, and I thank all my opponents during that tournament, especially BioLogIn and xade, for all the enlightenment I gained thanks to my games with them.
