Hm... I'm with jes on this one (and I suspect I'll get burned by this in a game, too) If there is a potential for summoning a monster, the charmed player *must* be sure to target "Nobody" with that hand *just in case*

I'm ok with first four, but I think the last one is nearly impossible to win - he has been inactive for ten days already )) . On this, I would like to propose a new rule of sorts. If someone dissappears off the face of the Earth, without even accepting the challenge, They loss. To ensure that those in the game aren't punished (with a 0) by people who have signed up and then been distracted by shiny things...

Can I just say, Mad propzorZ!!1! on the rule! Not needing to worry about PSFW makes PSDF way less powerful... Though I have a terrible feeling that my games are going to goo for a long time based on it...

Regarding the Reds - Jes dispute: Thanks for quoting me BioLogIn, it made my life easier I would like to remind everyone of the following line from the official rules: "The League relies on the honor system. Players are expected to behave honorably and respectfully... the coordinator can be called in to intervene. However, this is a last resort." The first resort is for Reds and Jes to come to an agreement themselves. I am updating the rule to cover charms, however, since it was never officially set before, either conclusion seems reasonable. If the two of you can't come to an agreement or would prefer to have a third party decide, I can do so. Xade -- that is not a new rule, it's already covered, under the part about surrendering if you haven't given your opponent a chance to play. If your opponent refuses to do so you can go to the coordinator, and ditto if they simply don't show up.

heh... There I went again, shooting my mouth off without reading the rules... You think there should be a rule about that? or is there already...

Jes and I decided to start a new game.
Also someone pointed out that I shouldn't have called Jes a dirty player. So let me clarify a few things. I never said Jes played dirty, I never even said the move was dirty. I said it was tricky or dirty. Some people consider forcing a P dirty (I don't). I think this was more tricky (and undefined) then anything else and that even Jes realized after playing that it was kinda in no mans (or womans) land. If anyone thought that I was suggesting that Jes is a dirty player or something then they misunderstood me.
I've played with Jes many enjoyable games in the past, and hope to play with her many times in the future.
Regardless, Jes even went out of her way to apologize, which I really am not sure was necessary.
You should also note about the issue itself that as Slarty said the rules have been updated and you are responsible for what ever comes out of your hands regardless if you're charmed or not.

Dang, not summoning is a hard rule to remember, ExDeath. I knew I'd forget, but not so early in a battle... BioLogIn rocks Hm... For the next rule change i propose a Monkey Island system of combat, whereby opponents must insult one another and have the appropriate comeback...
... Nobody's ever drawn blood from me and nobody ever will.
Loser must submit no gestures.

Better a dead samurai, than a living rogue.

heh, there we go, on ELO averagae, Nawglan has by far the hardest run... Lokiv and Spacca have got the easiest... Yes, but nawglan's is polarised, with 2 easy, 2 difficult and one in between. jes's are all substantially higher than her ELO, apart from one. To put it another way, if you've got one player at your ELO and one 500 above, you've clearly got a better deal than someone playing two opponents who are both 200 above their ELO, even though the ELO average of your opponents will be higher. If they're high above you it doesn't matter whether they're 200 above or 300 above or more - and likewise for the players below you. I'm sure ExDeath could beat a 1500 player and a 1600 player with the same ease - but once they get closer to your ELO it's different. A player at 1900 might have a shot, but a player at 1800 probably wouldn't. I'm curious as to what the ELO averages were last time, now....

Toyo - I am rubber, you are glue. (or yanno, you run *that* fast?) - I will milk every drop of blood from your body! Rycc - So maybe I should divide that average number you their own ELO...
