My fantasy team has sustained an injury in the form of IRL preoccupation. I'm willing to trade Dummiesday for one rookie and one draft pick to be named later.

Well...as the chips have fallen it looks like the 3 super walocks might be the best number after all...? So long as Zuggy can finish his games, my 3 choices will stand the test of the small rounds and (hopefully) have a better potential chance of winning in the next round/s.
Of the 4 and 5 team pickers, how many warlocks survived the first round?

I have 5 warlocks... 2 of them were in our group... - (both finished on 2 wins) 1 of them was Dummiesday... 1 of them went 4 and 0 And the fifth one was Reds...

I don't need your life story...just say "1 (maybe 2) out of 5..."then slap yourself around the head and i'll say "why are you hitting yourself, why are you hitting yourself?" And you'll have to admit "I am a lousy picker and 3 warlocks is the best style".

I picked 4, and 3 of them will be in the next round for sure.

I'll give you life story! *cough*disease*cough*

I picked four. Two or three got through. Two of them had very tough draws though.

Slarty, may I suggest that the end-of-round-one scoring is kept, rather than modified over? I think it would be interesting to compare how people did at the end of round 1 with how they ended up doing over the rest of the tourney. Maybe just an additional column would suffice?

Sure, I can preserve the round 1 scores.

I went with 5 picks and 2 got through. (Why didn't I choose myself? Silly lack of self confidence in my abilities to get a good draw

All 4 of my picks are in round 2. 8))
Only one mebby 2 of them I think I can beat. Let's hope I draw them in the next round.

Two of my four got through. The two that didn't were mainly disadvantaged due to slow play - Derfel for RL commitments and zugz was away for some time.
Interestingly the results of groups 4 & 6 were the only ones that were inconclusive due to not enough games being finished.

Derfel for RL commitments and zugz was away for some time. Okay... seriously... how hard is it for people to tell me apart from EVERYONE else! I wasn't disadvantaged by RL commitments... I have no real life commitments! Ask my girlfriend!

There are too many of you beginning with D! Fine then, you were disadvantaged by a bad draw. Either way I wanted you through so stop complaining
