Does anyone remember this old game? Cause thanks to the magic that is DosBOX, I've *finally* managed to finish this game. And man, is it a feeling of relief... 20 years that game has lorded it over me, and now... it has been cracked... It is quite the sense of achievement... and ..., can I just say, this game, it's puzzles, and ... verb guessing are bloody hard... woohoo! (sorry, I needed to vent this somewhere. )

Aren't all DOS programs compatible with Windows too? I've used a few that have to be called via the command prompt.
Edit: OMG, they have all of the King's Quest games on there! What have I gotten myself into??

What have I gotten myself into?? mwahahaha... how good is Dosbox though?? Wing commander! And it doesn't run a millionmilesperminute! The various "quests" - roger, roger wilco. Zac Macracken! Master of magic. They're all there, and they all just require a liiiittle bit of tweaking to get work...

I downloaded DOSBox with a frontend, called D-Fend I think. I'm having trouble loading the games into it. It's giving me the error message "There is no mounted drive allowing to reach the physical folder blah blah blah". Not sure what I'm doing wrong, maybe I should ditch the frontend?

I've used the linux version of dosbox to play bards tale... worked like a champ, except the music was so fast I couldn't distinguish the tune. *heh*

I'd like to find a copy of Rastan floating around somewhere. Apple ][gs preferred, DOS otherwise.
Game I miss playing (mostly due to never finishing it): Times of Lore.

It's a GoG/BM squid, to be precise.
Ahh Rastan, my younger sibling.
