Zugzwang and Spez played 86 turns over the three games in about three weeks. That comes out to about 4 turns per day, which is about two moves per day each. While this is obviously slower than Rycchus is playing, I don't think it's unreasonably slow.

Well, like I said, I didn't look at the first two games. I admittedly made assumptions based on how zugz played earlier in the tourney. But I guess it was just a host of small factors (slightly slow play, slightly longer games than normal, etc.) that combined to make things turn out the way they did.

Yeah, a week per game is acually faster than the alotted time to finish your games during round one.

True. It doesn't always go to three games though.
I like that we can press on as our brackets are ready rather than waiting for everyone to get to the same round and only then start playing.

I'll post a pic when someone else gets to the semis I don't want to be the only one in big letters - it looks egocentric

Because you attempted to use spaces to space out regular web-formatted text, which won't work. You need to use the pre and /pre tags (in brackets, of course).

Err... excuse me. I see that you actually used tabs instead. Tabs don't translate well between different text interpreters. Web browsers ignore them entirely.

If you copy a MS Word table and paste it anywhere other than MS Word, you won't get a table. You'll get the individual table cells in text format separated by tabs and carriage returns.

oh... dam... i also tried pasting it into excel (which worked) and then copying and pasting a chunk of spreadsheet with the table in the middle (because that was what rycchus' table looked like and that one worked) but that didnt work either

That's because this forum (like anything on the web) is essentially plain text format. Anything you copy from any application will paste as plain text.
Rycchus didn't paste a table, as you will see if you examine her post closely. She took a screenshot of the table, uploaded the image, and linked to it.
