Aw man, you are no fun ExDeath. If it's me or Dubber, everyone waves a white flag - if it's you, everyone turns into a suicidal lemming.
Seriously though, you engineered some good situations to pull out surprise kills. Was that deliberate or simply fortunate?

You had a choice of a fifty-fifty kill/escape for me, or a surrender - and you chose the surrender!

I didn't mean to be smug.. I was just a little surprised by Awall calling it 50/50.. I guess he means that he could have gone for mirror, but then still I would loose nothing much by abandoning the FoD, and he would be broken up. Or am I missing something here?
Since FoD is what all the top ranked players are using, I thought I'd give it a try.. Learn from the best I think... Thanks go to Nawglan and Laxen for demonstrations that were a little too close up for comfort.

2mclizard if you para yourself and he claps, you either has D in LH (best play in your game will be missle at goblin) of has C in RH. So both of you are left with more or less broken spellflow (note that even if you save FFF you can't para him next turn due to mirror threat), and you're 6 HP's down. I wouldn't call that exactly "lost nothing".
But even that doesn't matter. no matter how favorable para'ing yourself in this situation is, you opponent KNOWS this as well. Putting it in another way, if para'ing yourself is 90% favorable for you, then opponent has 90% probability of anticipating it... which means you're actually in 50\50 again. And that's why most guesses in this game are 50\50 actually if both players are of the same level.

Thanks for the clear explanation BioLogin. That does make sense.
